Поселок как будто сошел с рекламного постера об идеальной жизни — ухоженные улочки, дети, играющие с собакой на зеленой лужайке, прекрасный вид на горы из окна… Но после того, как в холодильнике одного из домов обнаруживают изуродованное тело бирманской домработницы, идеальная жизнь рассыпается в прах — в поселке происходят необъяснимые смерти, люди сходят с ума после встречи с привидениями, а про соседей нельзя с уверенностью сказать, люди они, или призраки мертвых.
