Amazing that this movie managed to be made at all.
It is incredibly explicit in its violence.
Don't make the mistake of taking everything at face value, this is not just a horror movie made to shock the audience with tales of rape and death.
Its director also meant it to be a commentary about the state of cinema in Serbia after the war, a criticism of the politically correct and feel-good types of movies that received financing from the West.
At any rate, it's not a movie that will let you indifferent. Most people hate it. I find it terrifying and almost funny at times in the exaggerated traits of its characters and the situations they find themselves in.
