Lionel, a Mama's boy has the unwanted honor of having to look after his overbearingly evil mother. He ends up falling in love with a local woman who believes that they're destined together. In a moment of intentional sabotage of one of their dates, his mother is bitten by a mysterious creature that ends up zombifying her. It's only a matter of time before she rises from the dead a powerful, bloodthirsty zombie. В Новую Зеландию привозят адскую крысо-обезьяну. Помещённая в приличный зоопарк, злобная обезьяна без промедления сжирает обезьяну из соседней клетки, а потом кусает неосторожную тётеньку. Тётенька тоже звереет, для начала сжирает собаку, а потом начинает бросаться на людей. Дальше - больше, и вот в подвале тётенькиного сына сидит группа зомби, в числе которых укушенная мама, убитая мамой медсестра, священник-каратист и местный новозеландский хулиган. Ну и, понятно, в самый нужный момент они выскакивают из погреба и кусают всех подряд, после чего местная вечеринка превращается в самую зверскую и кровавую вакханалию из всех виденных в кино.
