Наступило будущее. Примерно 2250 год. Корбен Даллас работает обычным таксистом. На обычном летающем автомобиле. И в один прекрасный день, как снег на голову, на него падает странная девушка: почти голая, огненно-рыжая, ни слова не понимающая ни по-английски, ни по-какому. С трудом удалось установить, что барышню зовут Лилу. Дальше стало понятно, что она - инопланетянка. А в результате этой невероятной встречи на Земле заново был обнаружен тот самый Пятый элемент - Любовь.
