Back round 98/99 I borrowed a German movie from library in vhs format. In this film a woman basically abandons her daughter at a train(?) station to unknown man & he spends rest of film trying to get her back to her mum.
Not much details to recall, other than this was allegedly part of a famous directors trilogy??????????
