Once upon a time... there was a girl named Karen, born in a wealthy environment. She lives with her widow stepmother in an outside villa in the woods. Since the death of her husband, mother is clinging to her wealth and status and she expects the same behavior from her daughter. At a sudden night, Karen sneaks out of the house and into the town.
