Dozens of imitators gather outside a dilapidated village sports center. They wait their turn to imitate GIGI: an Italian-dance artist from the 1990s who disappeared under mysterious circumstances at the height of his career. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown. Dead or alive, he has become a legend to this day. Year after year, his legion of followers and fans gather to pay tribute to him in a picturesque competition.
