A newly arrived Iranian family in the Netherlands struggles with their future. Eleven-year-old Farah discovers her mother wants to return to Iran, while her father prepares for an important interview with the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND). After a heated argument between her parents, Farah secretly takes their passports and flees with a friend. There, she makes a drastic decision.
