Maria and Sergio are in class together but have never spoken much. Upon returning from summer vacation, Maria is noticed for the first time by Cristian, a boy she's been madly infatuated with for over a year. Cristian sends Sergio to talk to her, asking if they want to meet up for bed. It's a very abrupt and unromantic proposition, but Maria immediately says yes when her idol suggests such a thing to her. Only to then panic: having never had any experience, she has no idea what will happen or what she should do. She's terrified of making a fool of herself and finds no comfort even in Simona, her best friend, who, a bit insecure and feeling out of step with the times, is upset and wants to be alone. So, when Sergio realizes Maria is having trouble, he offers to help her. The two spend an entire afternoon together preparing Maria for the challenge, discovering a bond and a pleasure in being together they've never felt before.
