Andrea, fourteen, lives in a small town in the province of Modena. He's a huge Ferrari fan. When he learns that his seventeen-year-old sister Stefania is going to Bologna this weekend, he too decides to travel to the Emilian capital to visit the Motor Show. Among the pavilions of the huge motor show, Andrea and Stefania separate. Andrea pretends to be the son of a Ferrari mechanic, and thanks to this little lie, he manages to drive a go-kart through the hills of Bologna. Stefania meets a boy, but the meeting ends in nothing. When Andrea, at nightfall, calls his parents to come pick him up, Stefania decides to take a bus, forcing him to do the same. Thus, at dawn, the two siblings find themselves in front of their house, which is inexorably locked because their parents have gone to Bologna to look for them.
