“Toda Coração” tells the story of Marina, a seven-year-old girl with a difficult mission: to convince her older sister, Lara, to undergo experimental heart surgery. Lara is nine years old and suffers from a heart syndrome that causes her heart to race in certain situations, such as when she is startled. This condition has led the sisters to develop an unusual love for reading, especially poetry. Amidst the family challenge that arises when a young doctor proposes experimental surgery, the family must learn to cope with their fears and their resilience.
