Alexander Maksimov is a brilliant psychologist and the best negotiator in Russia. He has vast experience behind him and a large number of saved people: he worked during the attacks, urged the release of hostages, dissuaded criminals and victims from committing a fatal act. Over the years in the profession, Maximov has developed his own unique method of negotiating. But even a seemingly perfect employee makes mistakes. In the past, Maximov, negotiating with terrorists who seized the school, is defeated - his daughter dies. Unable to look into the eyes of his wife and son, Alexander leaves the family. Главный герой — Александр Максимов, блестящий психолог и лучший в России переговорщик. У него за спиной огромный опыт и большое количество спасенных людей: он работал во время терактов, убеждал отпустить заложников, отговаривал преступников и жертв не совершать роковой поступок. За годы в профессии Максимов выработал собственный уникальный метод ведения переговоров. Но даже идеальный, казалось бы, сотрудник совершает ошибки. В прошлом Максимов ведя переговоры с террористами, захватившему школу, терпит поражение - погибает его дочь. Не в силах смотреть в глаза жене и сыну, Александр уходит из семьи.
