It's My Party. (26 x 22min) is a factual series for a target audience of kids age 7-9. This program takes viewers on a fascinating journey of discovery into different communities within Canada. From Diwali to Hanukkah to Kwanzaa to Pride, It's My Party. offers a fresh take on the celebrations and explores the origins and meaning behind different elements - all from a child's perspective. Hosted by Emily Agard, each episode pairs up two kids who have never met before. One is the Party Host: a kid celebrating an event, sharing their culture allows the Party-Host to see their own celebrations in a whole new way. The other is their VIP-Guest: a kid who knows little about the event they are attending, creating a true 'fish-out-of-water' experience. These two newfound friends jump in feet first into new cultural experiences, participating in challenges and games linked to the food, fashion and festivities of the dynamic celebration.
