Three-part film about the SPI expedition made by Nilo d'Oliveira, Heinz Forthmann, João Veríssimo (radio communication), Carlos Barreto (foreman) and João Clímaco (SPI inspector) to the Curisêvu Indians, 700 km from Cuiaba. First part: August 5, departure by land from Cuiabá; river obstacles such as Tomé jump, Macuco waterfall; on September 28, arrival at the Mehinako Indian village. Second part: crafts, haircutting, fishing, housing. Third part: making ornaments, fighting, preparing cassava, fishing in canoes.
