The post-queer, musical biopic Thirsty tells the story of girly-boy Scott Townsend, who turns to the world of drag as a safe respite from his bullied upbringing in the Cambridge, MA projects, becoming Thirsty Burlington, Provincetown's beloved Cher impersonator.
