Alyosha, an 11 years old boy, finds old roller-skates, remodels them according to his wish and arrives skating to the central park of the provincial Ukrainian city. All the time he feels that random passers consider his true manifestation of creativity as a freaky foolishness. The film narrates how difficult it is to make contact with the world and other people while keeping your individuality.
