Andres (Pedrito Frernandez) is in love with Laurita (Ana Patricia Rojo), a blind girl in need of an operation to be able to see again. Andres' parents are in love but quarrel a lot, mostly over Andres. Unknown to his parents, Andr?s sings in a bar with a mariachi to rise money for Laurita's operation. When Andres's parents learn about it, they get angry and forbid him to go on. Laurita's parents died in a car accident, while she only got blind. Now she lives with her Grandad, who's saving for her operation, too. Toni and his gang are always teasing Andres and Laurita. Andres' Dad wants his son to become a tough man, so he hires Toni to box with Andres. Andres doesn't want to fight so he doesn't hit Toni back. His Dad then gets crossed at him and orders Toni to give him a big spanking. Hit hard by Toni, Andr?s flashes back to the worst insults and teasing Toni gave to Laurita, losses control and knocks Toni down. On realizing what he has done, he runs off to the street and a car runs over him. This makes Andres' parents repent and everybody comes to terms, even Toni and his gang, for a happy ending.... more |
