Portrecista

The film tells us the story of Wilhelm Brass, prewar photographer - portrait - painter, participant and witness of the most tragical history chapters of XX century. Photography was his life passion, he learnt it's technical and artistic secrets before war. The artist worked in a big studio on the main street of Katowice. He was famous for making beautiful portraits. Didn't even presume that soon he will be doing thousands of portraits a month. Brass was included to a special reconnaissance commando of political department, called camp gestapo. - onet.pl
