La servante du passeur (TV)

Martha and her father belong to the Mormon sect. But on their journey, they encounter a ferryman who offers them hospitality for the night. Martha chooses to stay with the ferryman as his servant. They finally fall in love and marry, despite the influence of the pastor, who is jealous of the young woman and tries to turn her against Jurgen, using religion and sin as a pretext.
