In his own natural habitat, the infamous Brussels' neighbourhood Molenbeek that appeared in the international news several times after terrorist attacks in Europe, director Koen Van Sande tells a story about paranoia and misunderstandings. His short film 'LOCKDOWN' (2017) is situated in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Brussels' International Airport of March 2016, putting the multi-cultural neighbourhood of Molenbeek under even more pressure and racial prejudice.. When main character Louis picks up his son from a play date at their Moroccan neighbours' house, the street is put under lockdown and he is forced to stay put. But who are they looking for?
