On Halloween night, a car is parked in a dark alley. Inside, Patrick tries to comfort his daughter Lea, that just had her candy-run interrupted by her first period. Patrick sees this event as a perfect opportunity for his daughter to reconnect with her mother and it is precisely at the house of the latter that they are parked. Before saying goodbye, he tries to comfort her but can only observe his daughter characteristic assurance, the same confidence, he strangely recalls her experiencing at her first Halloween party, many years ago.
