Raffaele Acampora is a man like many others. He has a wife, Anna, who he loves, and four children, of which the eldest, Peppino, is fourteen, and like many boys of his age he begins to look for his path in the world. But it's not easy to do this when you live in an area where criminal organizations dictate the law. Every week Raffaele and his colleagues are victims of the criminal racket, which imposes protection money and all kinds of harassment on them. Until, one day, Raffaele decides to rebel.
