The Coconut Syndrome

The symbolic aspect of a pile of coconuts conjures a stream-of-thoughts for Deisy DeLa Cruz (Priscilla Garcia). The coconuts take her back in time to a term that has left a bad taste in her mouth and a sour note in her memories. The term reminds her that she is the kind of Latina who is culturally hollow and whose identity is broken.
