Isaac Jimenez is a young prodigy with a knack for lying: Something his father, a hard-working Mexican immigrant, strongly disapproves of. And being the first in his family with a rare opportunity, especially where his father (Hector) comes from, it's up to Isaac to seize the moment. Following a family consisting of three-generations of male Latinos, the variances between their upbringing is evident. Yet they still work as one unit in a struggling landscaping business. And with money being non-existent, Isaac must fight for his chance to get into the Art school he's been accepted to, even if it means finally telling the truth and taking his father's advice.
