Two boys, Li Ahh and Li Ohm, grow up motherless. Their father, Sui, is a workaholic who shuts himself out of the world. The boys' quest to reach out to their father leads them to adopt a puppy. But when the animal is sent away for being a nuisance, the boys are devastated. For the first time, Sui realizes that all his children ask is simply to love and be loved. - IMDb
Two brothers fend for themselves whilst their dad Sui (James Lee) works making manikins until late. As mandarin speakers they find life in their Malay school testing. Befriended by a girl,who plays a fishy trick on them, they adopt a pup and this leads to further adventures and problems. Though proceedings are slow at times, the children are appealing in their roles. After dad removes the pup, he starts to realise the boys need him to be there more for them. Director Liew Seng Tat has given an interesting slant on ordinary life.
