Review:
Pixote, a 10-year-old runaway boy, is arrested on the streets of Sao Paulo during a police round-up homeless people. Pixote endures torture, degradation and corruption at a local youth detention center where two of the runaways are murdered by policemen who frame Lilica, a 17-year-old transvesite hustler. Pixote helps Lilica and three other boys escape where they make their living by the life of crime which only escalates to more violence and death. - IMDb

Controversial scenes

There is a lot of nudity in this movie. While the gang rape early in the movie is in the dark, the next morning the boy is seen lying face down with his buttocks exposed. A short time later there is a fairly lengthy shower scene in which over a half dozen boys are seen clearly from the front while showering. Nearing the middle of the movie seven boys are seen nude lying in some sort of cell within the institution. Shortly after that scene, Pixote has a dream in which he is nude and running away from a car. In this dream he is running directly towards the camera fully exposed. 15-year-old black boy has sex with a woman. Shortly after that, Pixote gets to suck on that woman's breast.
