A fantastic story about the everyday life of two girls in the early 1900:s. Unlike most of Astrid Lindgrens stories, Madicken tells the story of the more wealthy people and their meeting with the poor instead of vice versa. Rating: 9/10 |

Actually, they made both a mini-series for TV and a movie for the movie theaters. This is the movie. |

Wonderful film of Astrid LIndgren's book. Even without English subtitles, this is wonderful to watch. A series of gentle vignettes in early 20th century Sweden following Madicken and her family. |
