Martinek: This movie illustrated how boring could be children's life in the suburbs in 2nd half of 20th century, but also how to defend himself against such boredom. Even an urban child could have a lot of adventures, if he knew how to find them. The main actor, Tomas Fryk, is not only nice boy, but also very good actor. Unfortunately, I've never heard on another movie with him. rwandsworth0: In a very typical Scandinavian fashion, this film does not shy away from issues which filmmakers in other countries would try and distance themselves from. For example, the nudity, although frequent, is not gratuitous; and the erection scene is sensitively handled. In addition, the storyline is good and holds the viewer's interest.
